("coynitt," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, mobile application, blockchain wallet,
and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into
our Terms & Conditions.
By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in
suspension or termination of your account and may be reported to law enforcement.
1. Permitted Use
Our Services are designed for the following lawful purposes:
- Sending and receiving international remittances to family, friends, and business contacts
- Participating in community savings circles (Rounds) with other verified users
- Managing your non-custodial blockchain wallet and digital assets
- Accessing business remittance APIs (for approved RaaS partners)
- Converting between fiat currencies and digital assets through approved on-ramp and off-ramp partners
2. Prohibited Activities
You must not use our Services to:
2.1 Financial Crimes
- Launder money or engage in any form of money laundering
- Finance terrorism or provide material support to terrorist organizations
- Evade taxes or facilitate tax evasion
- Process proceeds of crime or illegal activities
- Circumvent economic sanctions imposed by Canada, the United States, the European Union, or the United Nations
- Structure transactions to avoid reporting thresholds (smurfing)
- Engage in fraud, including identity fraud, wire fraud, or consumer fraud
2.2 Illegal Goods and Services
- Purchase, sell, or transfer payments for illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Purchase, sell, or transfer payments for illegal weapons or ammunition
- Fund or facilitate human trafficking or exploitation
- Process payments for child exploitation material
- Fund illegal gambling operations in jurisdictions where gambling is prohibited
- Process payments for stolen goods or counterfeit products
2.3 Platform Abuse
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or restrictions
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent identity information
- Use another person's account or identity without authorization
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code into our systems
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or wallet infrastructure
- Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract data from our Services without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
- Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in our software or smart contracts
2.4 Community Savings (Rounds) Abuse
- Join a Round with no intention of fulfilling contribution obligations
- Collude with other members to manipulate payout schedules
- Create sham Rounds for the purpose of laundering funds
- Use Rounds to circumvent transaction limits applicable to direct transfers
- Harass, intimidate, or threaten other Round participants
3. Restricted Industries
We may restrict or prohibit transactions associated with certain high-risk industries,
including but not limited to:
- Unlicensed money services businesses
- Cryptocurrency mixing or tumbling services
- Anonymous or privacy-focused cryptocurrency exchanges
- Online gambling platforms (unless licensed in the applicable jurisdiction)
- Adult entertainment or pornography platforms
- Darknet marketplaces or services
- Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing schemes
4. Transaction Limits
We impose transaction limits based on your verification level and risk profile. These limits are
designed to comply with regulatory requirements and protect our platform. You must not attempt to
circumvent these limits by any means, including splitting transactions, using multiple accounts,
or using third parties to transact on your behalf.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, or if you suspect that our Services are being
used for illegal purposes, please report it immediately:
Reports can be made anonymously. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
We are legally required to report certain activities to FINTRAC and law enforcement regardless
of whether a user report is filed.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate in response to violations of this AUP,
including but not limited to:
- Issuing a warning to the offending user
- Temporarily suspending account access pending investigation
- Permanently terminating the user's account
- Freezing or seizing funds as required by law
- Reporting the activity to FINTRAC, law enforcement, or other regulatory authorities
- Pursuing civil or criminal legal action
We may take enforcement action without prior notice where we believe there is an imminent risk
of harm, a legal obligation to act, or where providing notice would compromise an investigation.
7. Cooperation with Authorities
We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies, FINTRAC, and other regulatory authorities in
the investigation and prosecution of suspected violations of this AUP and applicable laws. This
may include providing account information, transaction records, and other data as required by
law or court order.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our
website or by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
